We started Compton & Co because we believe building a home isn’t just about construction, it’s about creating a space that’s built with care, honesty, and intention for the people who will live there every day.

We’re a family-run general contracting company, and we treat every project the way we’d want our own home handled. We’re thoughtful about decisions, careful with the details, and realistic about how homes are actually lived in. From the first conversation to the final walkthrough, we aim to make the process feel clear, steady, and straightforward.

We focus on custom homes and a small number of spec builds each year. By keeping our workload intentionally limited, we’re able to stay hands-on, pay close attention to the details, and stay fully invested in every project. We don’t rush builds or cut corners, and we always think long-term when making decisions.

For us, good building and good design go together. Every layout, material, and finish is chosen not just for how it looks, but for how it will hold up and function over time. We prioritize durability, practicality, and timeless style—so the home works just as well years down the road as it does on move-in day.
